Shaheed Naseer Ahmed Rather Volleyball Tournament Held in Tahab, Pulwama

Pulwama, 10th December: In a bid to promote harmony and understanding between the local community and security forces, 182 Bn CRPF organized the “Shaheed Naseer Ahmed Rather Volleyball Tournament” for boys at Tahab, Pulwama. The event, which saw the participation of four teams from various local schools, aimed at fostering friendly ties and enhancing public relations.

The tournament was officially inaugurated by the Commandant of 182 Bn. Throughout the event, the players demonstrated skill and sportsmanship. The final match, played between teams from Government Middle School, Tahab, and Nowpora, ended in victory for the Tahab team.

All participating teams were honored with trophies and gift hampers for their spirited performance. Trophies were awarded to the winning team, Government Middle School, Tahab, and the runner-up team. The event was conducted in collaboration with the Youth Services and Sports Officer of District Pulwama.

Officers from 182 Bn, sports officials, and the local public attended the event, with everyone encouraging a spirit of unity and cooperation among the people and the security forces.
