Qazigund (Kulgam) Dec 31: Ahead of Delhi-Srinagar railway connectivity Kulgam Police under the supervision of SSP Kulgam conducted a mock drill at Railway station Qazigund in Kulgam.

An official told that district police Kulgam along with various security agencies, successfully conducted a full-scale mock drill aimed to prepare the field forces for prompt response towards any untoward incident, especially of terror nature, at any vital installation especially of public place and development value.

Fire and Emergency Services, as well as medical teams, also were a part of the mock drill

“The whole exercise was meticulously supervised by SSP Kulgam Shri Sahil Sarangal-IPS. Besides, ASP NHW Qazigund Mumtaz Bhati, SDPO Qazigund, Rameez Raja, SHO Qazigund Masood Malik and others officers were also part of the mock drill so conducted” he said.

The exercise concluded successfully demonstrating the readiness and coordination of Kulgam Police.
