Awantipora, 10 January: Continuing its drive against the Drug peddlers and its propagators, Awantipora Police arrested drug peddler from Pampore area.
During naka Checking at Frestabal Pampore, Police party of Police Station Pampore under the supervision of SHO PS Pampore Insp. Naiem Ahmad arrested 01 drug peddler identified as Suhail Ahmad Ganie S/O Late Ab Rashid Ganie R/O Pantha Chowk A/P Frestabal Pampore.
The arrested person was moving in a suspicious circumstances and during search 48 grams of Charas like substance was recovered from his possession .
Case FIR No. 6/2025 under relevant section of NDPS Act stands registered in Police Station Pampore (Press Release).
