CRPF 46BN organises free medical for underprivileged people at Akhran

200 patients given free medicines in this camp; Program aimed to have good relation with locals and also help them in difficult times; Will conduct such civic prog's in future also, say official

Qazigund, Feb 4: To provide quality health care facility to the masses, the 46 Battalion CRPF organised free medical camp at Akhran area of Mirbazar, as part of the Civic Action Programme (CAP) to bring healthcare to the community’s doorsteps.

The medical camp was graced by Commandant 46Bn D S Pal, in presence of Deputy Commandant 46Bn R N Singh and CRPF officers and civil society members were present on the occasion.

Around 200 people including women and children attended the free medical camp and received free medicines, health check-ups, tests, and screenings.

A local, expressed gratitude to the CRPF for organising such a camp in the area. “I wasn’t feeling well and visited here. The doctors checked me out, and after some tests and screening, they gave me free medicines,” he said.

The local population appreciated the efforts of 46 Battalion CRPF, who reached out in numbers to take the benefit of such initiative. They further expressed the hope that such camps will continued to be organised in future as well.
