7 Vehicles Seized in Ganderbal for Illegal Mineral Extraction and Transportation: Police

Ganderbal: In continuation of its ongoing drive against illegal mining, intensified efforts of Ganderbal Police to combat illegal mining activities in the district has led to the seizure of 07 more vehicles involved in illegal excavation and transportation of minerals.

The drive was conducted by PS Ganderbal, PS Kangan and PS Safapora in various areas of the district and the seizures were made. This proactive approach to curb illegal mining in the district has been actively taken up by Police Ganderbal along with the Geology and Mining Department thereby ensuring the individuals involved in such illegal activities are legally prosecuted.
