Pulwama: In light of the budget session in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly, DDC member Tral, Dr. Harbakash Singh, urged that public representatives should ensure proper use of funds instead of wasting them. He highlighted the urgent need to upgrade the staff and infrastructure in educational institutions, emphasizing that public representatives should take the initiative to address these issues.
Dr. Singh also expressed his concern regarding the proposed infrastructure projects, including the Tral-Pahalgam and Tral-Khrew roads. He stressed the importance of ensuring that these developments do not negatively impact the environment.
Furthermore, Dr. Singh believed that efforts should be made to promote and boost tourism in Tral. He suggested that the scenic beauty and potential tourist destinations in the sub district including Shikargah and Nagaberan should be developed responsibly.
During his visit, Dr. Singh also offered condolences to former Sarpanch Ghulam Hassan, whose wife passed away recently. Additionally, he met with a delegation of locals and listened to their concerns.
