Zonal Level Interschool Kho-Kho Tournament Held at GMS Lurgam

Lurgam, June 18, 2025: The much-anticipated Zonal Level Interschool Kho-Kho Tournament for boys across all age groups was successfully held today at Government Middle School (GMS), Lurgam, under the banner of Zone Lurgam.

The event was formally inaugurated by the District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Mr. Talib Hussain, who emphasized the importance of organizing such sporting events in a free, fair, and smooth manner. He was joined by Mr. Nazir Ahmad, the Zonal Physical Education Officer (ZPEO), who personally monitored the proceedings throughout the day, alongside other senior officials.

Addressing the young athletes, Mr. Hussain lauded the Sports Department for their continued efforts in nurturing physical fitness and mental discipline through competitions like this. He congratulated the participants for their enthusiasm and high level of performance, which showcased remarkable talent and sportsmanship.

Trophies were awarded to both the winning and runner-up teams as a token of encouragement and appreciation for their hard work and dedication. The event saw participation from multiple schools in the zone, making it a vibrant and spirited gathering.

In his concluding remarks, Mr. Hussain extended heartfelt thanks to all officials, school staff, participants, and spectators for contributing to the success of the event and making it a truly memorable occasion.
