3-Day GVMUN-2025 concludes at GVEI Srinagar

Srinagar, 25 August: The 3-Day Green Valley Model United Nations (GVMUN) 2025 concluded on a high note with a grand closing ceremony, marking yet another milestone in the institute’s commitment to nurturing future leaders. The Chief Guest on the occasion, Dr. Mehboob Makhdoomi, a unique and renowned personality of Kashmir, in his address to the delegates emphasized the importance of such platforms in shaping young minds. While interacting with the students, he remarked that events like GVMUN contribute to nearly eighty percent of a student’s communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. He further told the participants that activities beyond the classroom are what universities and higher institutions truly value, as they equip students with confidence, critical thinking, and a global outlook.

Dr. Mehboob expressed his gratitude to the school management and thanked management for the invitation, appreciating the institute’s vision in providing students such opportunities for growth.

On the occasion, Mr. Mohammad Yusuf Wani, Chairman of Green Valley Educational Institute, praised the efforts of the young delegates who represented different schools with zeal and dedication. He lauded their ability to engage in meaningful dialogue, to debate with discipline, and to showcase diplomatic skills that are essential in the world today. He also congratulated the organizing committee and faculty for their tireless efforts in making GVMUN 2025 a resounding success.

The three-day conference witnessed intense debates, drafting of resolutions, and the exchange of innovative ideas on pressing global issues. Delegates demonstrated maturity, teamwork, and a spirit of cooperation throughout the sessions, leaving an indelible mark on this edition of GVMUN.

The closing ceremony ended with resounding applause, cultural presentations, and an air of inspiration, as students carried forward the lessons learned into their academic and personal journeys.

With its successful culmination, GVMUN 2025 has once again reaffirmed Green Valley Educational Institute’s role as a pioneer in providing its students with platforms that go beyond academics, instilling in them the values of leadership, diplomacy, and global citizenship.
