Sewa Parv 2025: Day 4 highlights spirit of collective responsibility for Cleaner & Socially responsible Ganderbal

GANDERBAL, SEPTEMBER 20: As part of the ongoing Sewa Parv 2025 celebrations, a series of activities were today organized across Ganderbal district underlining the spirit of collective responsibility, with enthusiastic participation from locals, educational institutions, and government departments.

The day’s activities focused on cleanliness, environmental conservation, and social awareness, showcasing the commitment of the district towards building a cleaner and socially responsible Ganderbal.

At Government Polytechnic College Ganderbal, GDC Kangan, and GCET Safapora, plantation drives were carried out, while the Rural Development Department organized similar drives at various Amrit Sarovars. In addition, the Manasbal Development Authority conducted a massive cleanliness drive in its jurisdiction.

To further spread social messages through art, GDC Ganderbal organized a theme-based wall painting activity.

Meanwhile, the Agriculture and allied departments carried out awareness programs for the farming community on various government schemes including HADP, JKCIP, PM-KISAN, KCC, IPM, Natural Farming, and Daksh Kisan registrations.

The ICDS department also organized Poshan Maah camps across all three project blocks of the district, with special focus on APHAAR and ABHA ID creation.

These diverse activities on Day 4 of Sewa Parv reflected the collective efforts of stakeholders working hand in hand to foster environmental sustainability, social responsibility, and community well-being across Ganderbal.
