DC Ganderbal chairs public outreach programme at Panchayat Wayil Directs concerned officers for time-bound redressal of genuine public grievances

GANDERBAL, NOVEMBER 22: In order to address the concerns and aspirations of the locals, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Jatin Kishore, Saturday chaired a Public Outreach programme at Wayil Panchayat in the district.

The event served as a platform for direct communication between the administration and the public, focusing on fostering inclusive development and addressing pertinent issues.

During the event, DDC Member and residents of Wayil and its adjoining areas raised various issues and demands including smooth potable drinking water facility, facilitation for various services of Revenue Department, awareness on government schemes, Road macdamization, augmentation of irrigation facilities and upgradation of schools among others.

Addressing the gathering, DC reiterated the administration’s commitment to inclusive development. He said the issues raised during the outreach programme have been noted and all genuine concerns will be redressed in a timebound manner.

Earlier, all the officers and heads of departments responded to the queries and grievances of the people pertaining to their departments.

Later, DC distributed approval and authorization letters among beneficiaries under IDDS, HADP, and for establishment of Trout Raceways besides equipment.

He also handed over various certificates among eligible beneficiaries and sports kits to students of various schools.
