DC Ganderbal reviews progress of works under Jal Jeevan Mission

GANDERBAL, JANUARY 02: A meeting to review the progress of works under Jal Jeevan Mission was held today under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Jatin Kishore, who is also the Chairman, District Water and Sanitation Mission (DWSM).

At the outset, Executive Engineer, RWS Division Ganderbal, through a detailed PowerPoint presentation highlighted the physical and financial progress of JJM schemes being implemented in the district.

DC directed the concerned officers to closely review all schemes and works where progress is low and ensure that their pace is expedited.

He emphasized that all necessary measures must be taken to bring the progress up to the desired level, while strictly adhering to prescribed quality standards in execution of works.

The meeting was attended by Superintending Engineers, Jal Shakti Circle Srinagar/Ganderbal; Chief Planning Officer Ganderbal; Executive Engineer, RWS Division Ganderbal; Executive Engineers, PHE Mechanical Rural Srinagar; and Assistant Executive Engineers of PHE Sub-Divisions Ganderbal, Kangan and Sumbal.
