Education Sector Review Meeting Held at GHSS Pampore Under Chairmanship of Dr. Harbakash Singh

Pampore, (Press Note): A review meeting of the education sector was held today at Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS), Pampore, under the chairmanship of Dr. Harbakash Singh, Hon’ble Chairman, Standing Committee for Health and Education, District Pulwama.

The meeting was attended by Hon’ble Members of the Council, including Mr. Qayoom Sahib and Ms. Minsha Ji, along with Mr. Nazir Sahib, Principal GHSS Pampore; Mr. Shahnaz Ahmad Malik, Zonal Education Officer Pampore; Mr. Khanday Sahib, Zonal Planning Education Officer, and Heads of Institutions of all Government and private schools of Zone Pampore.

During the meeting, issues raised in the previous review were discussed in detail. It was noted with satisfaction that many of these issues have since been resolved. The Hon’ble Chairman informed the gathering that the DDC Council Pulwama will soon issue a White Paper highlighting the progress and achievements made in the education sector over the last five years.

Several important matters related to academic improvement and institutional development were deliberated upon. The Hon’ble Chairman assured that all genuine concerns would be addressed on priority to further strengthen the education system in the district.

The Heads of Institutions expressed satisfaction over the deliberations and welcomed the outcomes of the meeting (Press Release).
