Education activist Baba Alexander joins the Indian Union Muslim League party

Baba Alexander, a Global Goodwill Ambassador and education activist, has joined the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) party. He received his party membership from the League’s State President, Panakkad Sadiq Ali Shihab Thangal, who attended the party’s state secretariat meeting held at the Yatheemkhana HRD Centre in Muttil, Wayanad.

Among those present at the event were Abdul Wahab (MP), P. K. Kunhalikutty (MLA), State General Secretary P. M. A. Salam, and K. M. Shaji. After accepting the membership, Baba Alexander said he felt proud and happy to join a secular party firmly rooted in Indian nationalism that upholds India’s secular values and has carried out numerous activities promoting religious harmony.

Congratulating Baba Alexander, Panakkad Sadiq Ali Shihab Thangal said that secularism is the major principle promoted by the League.

Baba Alexander was born in Valakam in Kollam district. He is the founding secretary of the National Child Development Council (NCDC), a national child welfare organization, and currently serves as its master trainer.

He developed the well-known “Baba Easy Spoken English” training program, which simplified English language learning. He worked mainly from Kozhikode between 2006 and 2016 and has been operating from Delhi since then. Baba Alexander has also received a world record for conducting a spoken English class with the largest number of participants.
