IRP 23rd Battalion Strengthens School Security with New Boundary Wall in Lethpora

Lethpora, 28 March 2026: A boundary wall with fencing constructed under the Civic Action Programme in the Govt . Middle School Lethpora was formally inaugurated today by Shri Baqar Samoon-IPS (SSP), Commandant IRP-23rd Battalion Lethpora in presence of Dy. Commandant, teaching fraternity of the Govt Middle School Lethpora.

The initiative has been undertaken as a part of the Civic Action Programme (CAP) with the objective of strengthening relationship, infrastructure and ensuring safety and security for the local community. The construction of the boundary wall with fencing is expected to provide enhanced protection and contribute towards better management of the educational institutes premises.

Speaking on the occasion, the Commandant IRP 23rd BN Lethpora highlighted the importance of community-oriented initiatives and reaffirmed the commitment of the police department towards public welfare and other development especially education sector. He emphasized that such projects play a vital role in building trust and cooperation between the police and the public.
The Dy. Commandant IRP 23rd BN highlighted the importance of education as well as relationship between police and public. The Zonal Education Officer Pampore Shri Shahnaz Ahmad thanked the IRP 23rd BN Lethpora for its full support, cooperation and strengthening the relationship between police and public.

Officers and officials of IRP-23rd Battalion, along with local residents, were present during the inauguration ceremony. The event concluded with appreciation for the efforts made in successfully completing the project.
