Srinagar: Voluntary Medicare Society (VMS), Bemina Srinagar, honoured visually impaired students for their academic excellence in the CBSE Class 10th Examination 2026 and for successfully completing a computer training program.
VMS organized a felicitation ceremony to recognize outstanding achievements of visually impaired students. The program was held under the #SeeAMillion initiative, supported by Enable India.
Ms. Anjum, Deputy Chief Education Officer Srinagar, graced the event. Prof. (Dr.) Mir Mohammad Maqbool, Prof. Masooda Yaseen, Dr. Farooq A. Kaloo, Dr. Suhail Maqbool, Dr. Bashir Ahmad Lone, Mr. Mohammad Ayoub Bhat, along with the staff of Parivartan Centre and Shafkat Special Inclusive School of VMS, were present.
Zainab Bilal secured 95%, Farees Rafiq scored 93%, and Adnan A. Mangral achieved 81% in the CBSE Class 10th examinations. They were felicitated for their outstanding performance. Their success reflects determination, resilience, and strong will.
The event also recognized participants of the “Computer Fundamentals for Persons with Vision Impairment” training program conducted from January 7, 2026 to April 9, 2026. The program focused on digital skills, English communication, and practical tools to help visually impaired individuals engage in the digital world.
