Bandipora, 19 July: The Indian Army’s 14 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) Under Kiloforce of Chinar Crops successfully recovered a Tata Sumo vehicle (JK04E-8839) from an accident site near Get Well Medical Store Sonarwain in Bandipora district of North Kashmir.
The operation involved a detailed terrain assessment, deployment of recovery equipment controlled winching and guided manoeuvring by trained personnel.
The vehicle was safely evacuated and handed over to Pethkoot Police Station for further action.Expressing their gratitude, local residents thanked the Indian Army for its timely assistance and humanitarian support.
The swift and professional response highlighted the unit’s technical expertise, operational readiness, and continued commitment to assisting the local population, further strengthening public trust and confidence in the Indian Army.
