Ganderbal, Sept 3(SM): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has suspended Er Ajaz from the party for a period of two years, citing alleged misbehaviour and misconduct with government employees as well as inappropriate conduct towards the public.
The decision was conveyed through a suspension order issued by BJP Ganderbal District President Gh Hassan Rather on September 3, 2026.
According to the order, the suspension has been made effective from September 3, 2026, and will remain in force for two years. The party said the action followed numerous complaints received from different government departments regarding Ajaz’s conduct.
“These complaints have been duly preserved on record as evidence,” the order stated.
The party order further cited his alleged “unfriendly and inappropriate conduct” towards members of the public as one of the reasons for the disciplinary action.
Copies of the order have been forwarded to the BJP Jammu and Kashmir president, senior party general secretaries and other concerned office-bearers for information.
The order does not disclose details of the individual complaints or specify the particular incidents that prompted the disciplinary action.(SM)
