Awantipora: A delegation of the Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF), Zone Awantipora, led by newly elected Zonal President Nisar Ahmad Reshi and under the guidance of Abdul Salam Wani, met Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Awantipora Mohammad Amin Paddar and discussed issues related to the teaching system and teachers’ welfare.
During the meeting, the delegation apprised the ZEO of various challenges being faced by the education sector in the zone and raised issues concerning teachers. The members also put forward suggestions aimed at improving the quality of education and addressing teachers’ issues in a timely manner.
ZEO Awantipora Mohammad Amin Paddar assured the delegation that the genuine issues raised during the meeting would be examined sympathetically and addressed as per rules and regulations.
The JKTF representatives thanked the ZEO for his positive response and assured their cooperation with the Education Department in strengthening the academic environment in schools.
The delegation comprised Abdul Salam Wani, Parvez Gulzar, Ashiq Khanday, Farooq Ahmad Rather, Fayaz Ahmad Wani, Fayaz Ahmad Yatoo, Nisar Ahmad Reshi, Zahoor Ahmad Mir and Riyaz Mohammad.
JKTF Zone Awantipora Media Secretary Riyaz Muhammad was also present on the occasion.
