PULWAMA, SEPTEMBER 15: In an effort to encourage maximum voter participation in the upcoming Legislative Assembly elections 2024, a comprehensive SVEEP (Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation) awareness program was conducted in the Namlan Shadimarg zone of Assembly Constituency Rajpora.
The program focused on educating the public about the importance of exercising their voting rights and ensuring informed and ethical voting. A large number of locals, including youth, women and first-time voters, attended the event.Officials emphasized the significance of voter participation in strengthening democracy and highlighted the various facilities available for Persons with Disabilities (PwD) and elderly voters to ensure inclusive participation.The initiative is part of ongoing efforts under the SVEEP campaign to raise awareness and encourage greater voter turnout in Rajpora and across Pulwama district for the upcoming elections.
