KUPWARA, SEPTEMBER 30: In a significant progress towards ensuring the smooth conduct of the Assembly Elections in all six assembly constituencies (ACs) of Kupwara, all the poll parties along with election material have reached the respective polling stations successfully on Monday afternoon.
Earlier, under the meticulous supervision of District Election Officer (DEO) Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan and Election Observers, the process of dispatching Poll Parties along with material from Dispatch cum Receipt Centers (DCRCs) were conducted successfully. Comprehensive arrangements were made for departure of polling parties, encompassing vehicles, seating arrangements, and security measures.
Election Observers accompanied by DEO interacted with polling parties, urging them to adhere to Election Commission’s guidelines diligently and execute their assigned tasks with dedication and integrity.
Pertinently, the poll parties carrying EVMs traversed through the thick forests and toughest terrains and reached the polling stations located close to LoC, which included Seemari, Keran, Kumkadi, Hardring Bala (Machil), Hangnikoot, Mankal, Amrohee, Sudhpora and Jabdi.
As the poll parties including security personnel reached their respective polling stations, they were warmly welcomed by officials at polling stations.
The deployment of polling parties marks a crucial step in the electoral process, ensuring that democratic exercise proceeds smoothly and efficiently.
All the Six assembly constituencies of Kupwara district are going to polls on Oct 1, tomorrow. All necessary arrangements have been made to ensure free, fair, and smooth polling in the district.
