Int’l Cricketers Arrive in Kashmir for Legends League Cricket

Srinagar, Oct 06: Srinagar is preparing to host an international cricket tournament as the Legends League Cricket (LLC) event approaches, set to take place at Bakshi Stadium.

The Southern Superstars, one of the participating teams, has already arrived in the city, and will be staying at a hotel in Srinagar, as reported by the news gathering agency, KNO.

Among the cricket stars who have landed in the Valley are Dinesh Karthik, Martin Guptill, Pawan Neri, and Kedar Jadhav.

The excitement among cricket fans in the region is palpable, with many eager to witness their favorite international players in action. The LLC runs from October 9 to 16 and features notable cricketers such as Chris Gayle, Shikhar Dhawan, Irfan Pathan, and Ian Bell.

This marks the first international cricket event in Kashmir in nearly four decades.

Authorities have heightened security measures to ensure the safety of players and fans alike. Bakshi Stadium, traditionally a football venue, has been renovated to meet international cricket standards.
