Srinagar, 27 Oct: The picturesque Valley and the iconic Dal Lake witnessed a groundbreaking event as it hosted its first-ever Traditional Boat Race exclusively for women. Over 150 participants took part in this historic race, shattering barriers and promoting women empowerment in the region.
Initiated by Suresh B. Kapadia, who hails from Nashik, Maharashtra, the event was organized by the Jammu & Kashmir Association for Rowing and Sculling (JKARS) and sponsored by the Indian brand Caprese.
