Qazigund, Nov 15: Amid rising of accidents, Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Qazigund, Rameez Raja appealed to parents to not allow minors to have access to either two or four-wheelers.

“This is a sincere request to all parents to refrain from giving bikes or scooters to your children, especially minors. As you are all aware, there has been a disturbing increase in road accidents in recent days, with bikers being the primary victims”, reads a statement.

“I urge all bikers to wear helmets at all times, carry their driving licenses, and drive at safe speeds. Please ensure that traffic rules are strictly followed to prevent accidents”, it further reads.

“Any individual found violating traffic rules will face strict action, Let us work together to ensure the safety of our community”, he said.
