Block Diwas: ADDC presides over grievances redressal camp at Devsar 

Listens public demands, resolves various grievances on the spot

Devsar (Kulgam) Nov 27 : The District Administration Kulgam on Wednesday organized Block Diwas at Townhall Devsar in South Kashmiri’s Kulgam district to take appraisal of the public issues, grievances and demands.

To take first hand appraisal of public grievances and demands, the Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Kulgam, Bashir Ahmad Wani presided over an outreach programme and listened to grievances and issues of people for redressal.

Among others, Block Development Officer (BDO) Devsar, Arif Ayaz Dar, Station House Officer (SHO) Devsar Rishi Kumar, Incharge EO Municipality Devsar Abid Afzal, Agriculture officer Devsar, Firdous Rather and other officers and officials of line departments were present on the occasion.

Locals participated in the Block Diwas and aired their issues. The main demands raised include shifting of PHC Devsar and its basic health care facilities, drinking water supply issue at Nawa, Solar lights, repairments of roads, defunt of panchayat Ghars and other welfare demands before the chair.

Officers and officials listened to issues, grievances and demands of the public for timely redressal at the venue.
