Awantipora Police organises Thana Diwas across the Police District

Awantipora, 28 November: As a part of public outreach programme and an initiative by Government of J&K, Police in Awantipora organized ‘Thana Diwas’ across Police District Awantipora.

The meetings were chaired by respective jurisdictional police officers and were attended by various associations and respectable of concerned areas.

On the occasion, participants highlighted various issues of public importance, and they were assured that their genuine grievances pertaining to Police will be resolved on priority and that of civil administration will be taken up with the concerned departments for their early redressal.

Thana Diwas is an initiative started by the Government of J&K to bridge the gap between Police and Public and also to hear and redress the grievances of common masses.
