Anantnag, Dec 7: Coming heavily on district administration over it’s delayed action in redressal of public issues senior NC leader Imran Amin Shah said that present Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah is committed to make administration accountable and it is better for the local administration to come out of slumber in which they were naping since last five years. They need to understand that they are public servants rather acting as bosses. Shah was addressing a public meeting at Magreypora Anantnag today.

Shah said that it is irony that despite repeated requests for restoration of watersupply including repairment and construction of lanes and drains in the vicinity but the local block level administration is taking lenient view in addressing the public issues which is worth intolerable and condemnable.

The Rural Development department too seems to praise it’s bosses rather than addressing local issues and making people to suffer at large.

Shah said that our government is committed to take governance at door steps and assured people of Magreypora that their genuine concerns would get prioritized soon.

Shah urged the concerned Minister to take appropriate action against the concerned departments for their delay and negligence in addressing the rising concerns and issues of general public particularly in these areas.

He was also accompanied by block president Achabal Ab Salam dar and block secretary Mushtaq Ah.
