Awantipora, 02 January: Continuing its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, police have arrested a drug peddler in Tral and recovered psychotropic substance from his possession.
A police party led by IC PP Aripal ASI Bilal Ahmad under the supervision of SDPO Tral arrested a drug peddler near Wagad Crossing. During search, officers were able to recover 200 tablets of Spasmo Proxyvon and 04 Bottles of Liquor from his possession. He has been identified as Moti Singh S/O Gunda Singh R/o Gadpora Laribal Aripal He has been shifted to police station where he remains in custody.
Accordingly, a case FIR No 1/2025 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Tral and investigation has been initiated.
