Tral, Pulwama: Dr. Harbaksh Singh, a distinguished socio-political activist, Chairman of the Standing Committee for Health and Education in Pulwama district, and DDC member from Tral, has been appointed as the Director of the Global Sikh Vision Organisation, London.
The Global Sikh Vision Organisation is “dedicated to promoting Gurmat (the teachings of Sikhism) and spreading the universal messages of Sikhism centered on love, unity, equality, and the well-being of all.”
A statement reads that, “Dr. Singh’s extensive experience in social and charitable work makes him a valuable addition to this global initiative. He is the founder of a charitable trust and is closely associated with various educational trusts. Additionally, he is a lifetime member of the Old Age Home in Jammu, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to social service and community welfare.”
“This appointment highlights Dr. Singh’s tireless efforts in fostering positive change and promoting humanitarian values, both locally and globally. His leadership and vision are expected to further the mission of the Global Sikh Vision Organisation in uniting communities and serving humanity,” reads the statement.
