Kulgam, Jan 28: A timber machine was gutted in a devastating fire that broke out last night at village Bhan area of south kashmiri’s kulgam district, official said on Monday.
An official told that broke out last night in the timber machine located at Chanapora Bhan in Kulgam.
However, fire tenders, police and locals rushed to the spot and prevent the fire from spreading further. The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
The timber machine belonged to Shabir Ahmad Najar son of Gh Mohd Najar.
Meanwhile, confirming the incident official from F&ES said that goods worth lakhs have been destroyed in the incident.
