Awantipora Police and CRPF Conduct Mock Security Drill at Awantipora Railway Station

Awantipora: In a strategic initiative to enhance security preparedness and ensure public safety, the Awantipora Police, in collaboration with the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), conducted a high-intensity mock drill today at Awantipora Railway Station.

Designed to simulate real-world emergency situation, including potential security threats at railway infrastructure, the exercise aimed to assess the responsiveness and coordination of security forces to safeguard critical assets and public spaces effectively.

Personnel from SOG Awantipora, CRPF 130 Bn, and CRPF 185 Bn demonstrated rapid and decisive response strategies, executing seamless evacuation procedures, efficient crowd control measures, and advanced crisis resolution techniques. The drill also incorporated cutting-edge equipment and tactical maneuvers to ensure a highly effective approach to handle emergencies.

The drill was attended and supervised by SSP Awantipora Shri Sajjad Shah, CO 130 Bn Shri Rajeev Yadav, CO 185 Shri Arun Bharti, Adl. SP Awantipora Shri Rashid Younis along with other Senior officers from the Police and CRPF.
