Mohd Azad Lone Bids Farewell to Awantipora, Assumes Charge as Zonal Education Officer Sumbal

Pulwama, February 25, 2025: In a significant development, Mohd Azad Lone, a renowned and upright officer, today relinquished his charge as Zonal Education Officer (ZEO), Awantipora, to assume his new role as ZEO, Sumbal. His departure from Awantipora marks the end of an era, during which he transformed the zone’s educational landscape.

A press release issued to Srinagar Mail reads that, “Under his dynamic leadership, Awantipora zone witnessed unprecedented growth, with a focus on infrastructure development, corruption-free governance, and academic excellence. His unwavering commitment to quality education earned him widespread acclaim from stakeholders, including teachers, students, and parents.”

Mohd Azad Lone , in his address, assured the forums of his commitment to work in close cooperation with the teachers of the zone. He emphasized his dedication in enhancing the academic standards of the zone and addressing all genuine issues in a time bound manner.

The Delegates of the zone sumbal expressed their gratitude to Mr. Mohd Azad lone for his assurance and cooperation.They reiterated the forum’s commitment to work zeoulously and tirelessly for the betterment of education in the zone.

As Mohd Azad Lone bid farewell to Awantipora, he was accompanied by a large contingent of well-wishers, including members of the JK Teachers Forum Zone Awantipora Zonal President Ab salam wani.Gen secretary Mr Zahoor Ahmad Mir. staff of the ZEO office, and teachers from various schools. Mr. Mir farooq ud din , Mr.Aashaq khanday and Mr Irfan Ahmad Dar highlighted the achievements of Education Zone Awantipora under the able leadership of Mr Azad Ahmad Lone . The gathering was a testament to the high esteem in which he is held by his peers and subordinates.

During his tenure in Awantipora, Mohd Azad Lone implemented numerous initiatives aimed at improving educational outcomes, promoting transparency, and ensuring accountability. His dedication to his duties and his passion for education inspired a new generation of educators and learners.

As he assumes his new role in Sumbal, the education fraternity of Awantipora wishes him continued success and looks forward to his contributions in his new assignment (Press Release).
