Ganderbal Police observes “Thana Diwas” programme across the District

GANDERBAL: Ganderbal Police today observed “Thana Diwas” across the district with a view to enhance community engagement and address public concerns. The event was attended by SSP Ganderbal Shri.Ragav S, IPS at PS Safapora. Further, the programme was held at PS Ganderbal, Kheerbawani, Kangan, Gund, Lar and PP Shadipora which was attended by GOs and SHOs.

SSP Ganderbal Shri Ragav S, IPS attended the ‘Thana Diwas’ programme at Safapora. The participants included community members, farmers, Auqaf Committee representatives, Numberdars, Chowkidars, Teachers and members from various traders. SSP Ganderbal attentively listened to the grievances and concerns put forth by the participants. Speaking on the occasion, SSP Ganderbal ensured that Ganderbal Police shall remain accessible to the people, and that their grievances relating to Police will be addressed immediately and in an effective manner and the grievances pertaining to civil administration will be taken up with the concerned departments to resolve them on priority.

He further stressed upon the Zero tolerance policy of Ganderbal Police towards drugs and requested the participants to come forward with any information regarding the same and assured them of immediate action.

Participants in the event expressed their gratitude towards Ganderbal Police for initiating such interactive sessions, which they deemed essential for building trust and cooperation between police and the public. This initiative showcases the priority of Ganderbal Police in addressing the concerns of the community with serious commitment.
