Forest Protection Force Employee Injured by Wild Bear in Gulshanpora Tral Forest

Tral, 9 April: On Tuesday, Niyaz Ahmed Mir, a Forest Protection Force employee, sustained injuries after being attacked by a wild bear while engaged in efforts to douse a fire in the Gulshanpora forest. Reports said that the incident occurred during an operation aimed at controlling the wildfire in the said forest.

Niyaz Ahmad Mir, son of Mohd Amin Mir, a resident of Batagund, was immediately shifted to the Sub-District Hospital (SDH) in Tral, where he received prompt medical attention for his injuries. His condition is reported to be stable.
