Tral, June 2: Jammu and Kashmir Congress Vice President Surinder Singh Channi has extended his warm greetings to the Muslim community on the auspicious occasion of the Urs of Hazrat Ameer Kabir Mir Syed Ali Hamdani (RA), also known as Shahi Hamdan.

In his message, Channi conveyed heartfelt wishes to Muslim brothers and sisters, especially the people of Tral Sub-District. “On the sacred occasion of Urs of Hazrat Amir Kabir, my heartfelt greetings and best wishes are extended to all. This Urs holds deep spiritual significance as people gather to offer prayers for peace, prosperity, and universal brotherhood,” he said.

He also urged the local administration and concerned departments to ensure all necessary arrangements are in place for the smooth and peaceful observance of the Shab Khawani tonight. “These include uninterrupted power and water supply, proper sanitation, and efficient traffic management near religious site,” a statement reads.
