Ganderbal:In a tragic incident, a woman reportedly drowned in a power canal in the Thune Kangan area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Thursday.
Preliminary reports suggest that she accidentally fell into the canal, though the exact circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. Authorities have not yet issued an official statement regarding the cause of the drowning.
Soon after the incident was reported, a rescue operation was launched by Kangan Police with active support from local residents. As of the time of filing this report, the search operation was still ongoing.
