Congress Holds Workers’ Meet in Bandipora, Calls for Restoration of Statehood

Bandipora, July 16:Congress Party on Tuesday held a Workers’ Meet at the Head Office Bandipora under its ongoing campaign Hamari Riyasat Hamara Haq.The meeting was chaired by District Coordinator Ab Rashid Dar and witnessed the participation of the District President, all Block Presidents and Halqa Presidents from across the district.

Speakers at the meeting strongly demanded the immediate restoration of Jammu and Kashmir’s statehood, terming it a fundamental democratic right of the people.They stressed that any further delay in this regard was an injustice to the aspirations of the citizens of Jammu and Kashmir.

The participants also stressed the importance of preparing for the upcoming Urban Local Body (ULB) and Panchayat elections, urging party workers to intensify grassroots outreach and strengthen the organizational structure to ensure Congress’s strong presence in the region.

They reaffirmed their commitment to the party’s vision and resolved to continue advocating for the rights of the people of Jammu and Kashmir with greater dedication and unity.
