During the operation, legal samples of two drugs were lifted from the pharmacy premises for detailed laboratory testing. The raid and sealing were conducted under the direct supervision of Dr. Shabbir Ahmed Bhat, Assistant Controller Drugs, Ganderbal.

Officials have ordered the pharmacy to remain closed until the ongoing investigation is completed. Authorities have also warned that stringent action will be taken if any violations are confirmed.

The video, which rapidly circulated on social media, sparked public concern and led to immediate intervention by the drug control department. According to sources, more surprise inspections are expected in the coming days as part of an intensified crackdown.

This enforcement drive has sent a clear and strong message across the district: pharmacies operating in violation of the law will face prompt and uncompromising action.(SM)
