The camp was inaugurated by Principal HSS Drabgam, Mr. Manzoor Ahmad, who emphasized the importance of accessible and empowering education for all children, regardless of their physical or cognitive challenges. Zonal Education Officer, Shadimarg, Mr. Khadim Hussain, welcomed the dignitaries and highlighted the need for accessibility, early interventions, and equal opportunities for all children.

During the camp, aids and appliances were distributed to 75 identified CWSN students from Zone Shadimarg, as recommended during an assessment cum measurement camp held in October 2024. The distribution was carried out by Principal HSS Drabgam, Zonal Education Officers, and other dignitaries.

The success of the camp was attributed to the dedication and efforts of Special Educators, Resource Persons, and supporting staff, who worked tirelessly to ensure seamless logistics and support.

This initiative reflects the commitment of the Education Department to promote inclusive education, as envisioned under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
