This globally acknowledged list, published by a team of researchers at Stanford in collaboration with Elsevier, identifies the most influential scientists across all scientific disciplines based on standardized citation indicators.

Currently, Dr. Bhat serves as a Senior Staff Scientist at Sidra Medicine, Qatar, one of the leading centers for pediatric care, precision medicine, and biomedical research in the Middle East. His work spans cutting-edge research in cancer biology, obesity, and metabolic diseases, often integrating genomics, transcriptomics, and other multi-omics approaches to uncover therapeutic targets and biomarkers.
Dr. Bhat earned his Ph.D. from the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, where he focused on vaccine immunology. Following his doctoral studies, he pursued postdoctoral research at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Nashville, Tennessee, USA, where he specialized in cancer biology.
