During the event, Dr. Harbakash Singh, Chairman of the Amrit Charitable Trust, expressed concern over the lack of adequate space and infrastructure in the government school located in the Gujjar Basti area of Narastan. He assured that the matter would be taken up with the Director of Education, Kashmir, and the Deputy Commissioner, Pulwama, to help establish a well-equipped school for the local children.

As part of the same outreach program, Dr. Singh also distributed school bags and stationery kits to students at Syed Abad Pastuna, Tral. He highlighted the Trust’s ongoing efforts to improve educational facilities in the region, noting that smart classrooms have already been provided in two schools in Tral, with plans to extend the initiative to more institutions in the future.
