Department of YS&S Kishtwar leads another successful day of the District Trekking Expedition

KISHTWAR, NOVEMBER 30: The Youth Services & Sports Department Kishtwar today successfully organized Day 6 of the Inter-Zonal District Level Residential Trekking Expedition for Boys marked by adventure, discipline and enthusiastic participation from young trekkers representing various zones of the district.

The Day 6 trekking route began from the Base Camp and advanced through the scenic trails of Hidyal – Chowgan Ground – Hatta – Pochhal – Brayain offering students a breathtaking experience of Kishtwar’s natural beauty. The mesmerizing landscapes, fresh air and vibrant greenery provided the young participants an unforgettable trekking journey.

This prestigious expedition is being held under the directions of Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Pankaj Kumar Sharma  and under the overall supervision of DYSSO Kishtwar, Jaffer Haider Sheikh, who has been instrumental in ensuring smooth conduct, safety and quality arrangements throughout the event.

The trek was observed closely by ZPEO Kishtwar & Nagseni ensuring discipline and adherence to trekking protocols. On this day Zorawar Singh (PET) led from the front motivating the trekkers with his dedication and energy. He provided valuable fitness and trekking tips to the boys encouraging them to maintain stamina, stay focused and appreciate the adventure with responsibility.

Officials from the department also accompanied the group ensuring proper management, safety support, hydration points and continuous encouragement to the young trekkers. The picturesque terrains and the enthusiasm of the participants made the day exceptionally vibrant and memorable.

The Youth Services & Sports Department Kishtwar continues to promote adventure sports, environmental awareness and physical fitness among students through such residential trekking expeditions, paving the way for holistic development of young learners.
