Published by Department of Journalism and Mass Communication (DJMC), IUST, the newly introduced publication aims to keep the campus community, stakeholders and the broader public informed about the institution’s ongoing progress.

The Newsletter shall serve as a vibrant platform to highlight major academic initiatives, research breakthroughs, student accomplishments, and industry, community and alumni connect programmes. It shall also cover various events organised by different departments and centres at the University.

Speaking on the occasion, Vice Chancellor, IUST, Prof Shakil Ahmad Romshoo, emphasised the importance of transparent and timely communication in higher education institutions. He also lauded the initiative of the department, which, he said, shall “ensure seamless knowledge sharing within and beyond the campus.”

Initially, the Newsletter will be published fortnightly and will turn into a weekly publication in near future. With this initiative, IUST continues to strengthen its role as a forward-looking institution dedicated to promoting knowledge, creativity and community engagement.
