Ganderbal, Mar 25 (SM): The district administration in Ganderbal on Wednesday advised the public to refrain from panic buying and hoarding of essential commodities, assuring that sufficient stocks are available across the district.
In an official statement, the administration said adequate supplies of LPG, petrol, diesel and other essential items are available in all areas of the district.
It said the situation is being closely monitored and necessary measures are in place to ensure uninterrupted supply of essential commodities.
People have been urged to remain calm and rely only on official advisories issued by the government and the district administration.
The administration also warned that strict action will be taken against black marketing and those involved in spreading rumours that could lead to hoarding.(SM)
