PARAS Health Srinagar Launches Advanced Thoracoscopy Device to Boost Pulmonary Care

Srinagar, April 29: PARAS Health Srinagar has introduced a state-of-the-art thoracoscopy device, marking a significant advancement in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory diseases in the region. The launch is expected to enhance minimally invasive procedures for patients with lung-related conditions.

Facility Director Dr Murtuza Habib highlighted the importance of the new addition, stating that the technology would strengthen the hospital’s capabilities in pulmonary care and ensure better outcomes for patients.

Consultant Dr Zubair Thoker informed that the thoracoscopy device will allow for more accurate diagnosis and targeted treatment of pleural and lung diseases through minimally invasive techniques.

Dr Naeem Firdous Dar said that many patients will benefit from the availability of this advanced facility, reducing the need for referrals outside the region.

Associate Director, Department of Pulmonology, Mohd Yusuf Dar emphasized that the introduction of thoracoscopy will significantly improve the management of complex respiratory conditions and enhance patient care services at the hospital.

The initiative underscores PARAS Health Srinagar’s commitment to bringing cutting-edge medical technology to the region and improving access to specialized healthcare.
