Cancer Screening & Multi Speciality Medical Camp Held at SDH Karnah, Benefits Hundreds in Border Area

Kupwara : A Cancer Screening and Medical Camp was organised by the Indian Army and District Administration Kupwara at Sub District Hospital, Karnah, in collaboration with Quality Healthcare Hospital, Kupwara.

A distinguished team of four oncologists from Delhi conducted cancer screening of over 20 patients, besides examining and counselling patients already undergoing treatment for cancer. The camp witnessed an overwhelming response, with more than 300 residents of Karnah availing themselves of the specialised healthcare services.

In addition to cancer care, expert consultation and treatment were provided in Gynaecology, Dentistry, Dermatology and Audiometry, enabling patients from remote areas to access quality medical care at their doorstep.

The locals expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Indian Army, District Administration and the organising agencies for their continued outreach in the remote border region. The initiative was widely appreciated for facilitating access to specialised healthcare and bringing relief and hope to patients suffering from serious and life-threatening ailments.
