Officials said a dedicated mock drill was also organised at Mata Kheer Bhawani Temple in view of the upcoming annual mela to assess security arrangements, crowd management, evacuation procedures and emergency response mechanisms for the smooth conduct of the religious event.

The exercises simulated different emergency scenarios to evaluate the preparedness of security forces and the coordination among stakeholders, they said.
