Khanda, Jammu & Kashmir: One World Aid Trust successfully organized a Sabeel (water distribution) for mourners during the Muharram observance in Khanda as a gesture of humanitarian service and communal harmony. The initiative received an overwhelming response and was conducted peacefully with the support of volunteers and the local community.
Speaking on the occasion, Faisal Bilal and Irfan Ramzan said that the organization remains committed to promoting peace, unity, and brotherhood among all communities. They emphasized that the core mission of One World Aid Trust is to serve humanity irrespective of religion, sect, caste, or background, and that such initiatives strengthen social harmony and mutual respect.
The organization expressed its sincere gratitude to the local administration and the Jammu & Kashmir Police for making excellent security and logistical arrangements during the Muharram gatherings. One World Aid Trust also appreciated all the volunteers and local youth who fully cooperated with the authorities, maintained exemplary discipline, and contributed to the successful conduct of the Sabeel.
Executive Members Tanzeela Mushtaq and Farzana Bashir stated that on the 10th of Muharram, we remember the unparalleled sacrifice of Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.) and the martyrs of Karbala. His stand at Karbala continues to inspire humanity to uphold truth, justice, courage, and compassion. They added that his legacy reminds us to live lives of integrity, righteousness, and selfless service to society.
Members present during the event included Shahid Ahmad, Faizan, and Faizan Rashid, along with several dedicated volunteers who ensured the smooth execution of the humanitarian initiative.
