Vice Chancellor SKUAST-K chaired 29th SAC Meeting of KVK Pulwama

Pulwama, Press Release: Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Pulwama convened its 29th Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC) Meeting today, on 04 July 2026, with the objective of reviewing ongoing activities and further strengthening the linkage between research institutions and farming communities.

The meeting was presided over by Vice Chancellor, SKUAST-K, Prof. Nazir Ahmad Ganai, and attended by Director Extension, SKUAST-K, Heads of various KVKs, district officers from line departments, Scientists from KVKs, progressive farmers/entrepreneurs of the district and other stakeholders who actively contributed their valuable insights towards shaping the future roadmap of agriculture in the district.

During the meeting, Prof. Javeed Ahmad Mugloo delivered a detailed PowerPoint presentation on the Annual Progress Report for the year 2025–26 and the Proposed Action Plan for 2026–27 of KVK Pulwama. He highlighted key achievements and identified potential intervention areas aimed at uplifting the farming community of the district through scientific and need-based approaches.

The programme also featured an interactive feedback session, wherein district officers from line departments shared their perspectives and highlighted key challenges being faced in the agricultural sector.
