Awantipora: Residents of Padgampora, Dangerpora and Larkipora areas of Awantipora in south Kashmir have been facing an acute shortage of drinking water for the past three days following a disruption in the water supply.
One of the residents, Syed Raashid Bukhari, in a Facebook post, appealed to the District Administration Pulwama and the Public Health Engineering (PHE) Department, Awantipora, to take immediate measures to address the issue and arrange water tankers until the regular water supply is restored.
“For the past three days, residents of Padgampora, Dangerpora and Larkipora have been without drinking water due to the disruption in the water supply. We request the authorities to kindly intervene and arrange water tankers until the supply is restored,” Bukhari wrote in his Facebook post.
