𝗦𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗿, 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 08: Shri Maqsood Ul Zaman, IPS, DIG AP Kashmir and Overall Supervisory Officer for Independence Day Parade-2026, convened a meeting of supervisory and nodal officers at Armed Police Complex (APC) Zewan, Srinagar, to review the preparations and arrangements for the ceremonial event.

During the meeting, all key aspects related to the smooth and successful conduct of the parade were reviewed, with emphasis on inter-departmental coordination and timely completion of assigned responsibilities.

DIG directed all stakeholders to ensure a disciplined, impressive and well-coordinated presentation of the parade. He stressed high standards of turnout, drill, precision, synchronization and ceremonial decorum.

He also directed the concerned officers to ensure adequate accommodation, timely refreshments and necessary facilities for all participating contingents, and to complete all arrangements well in advance for the successful conduct of Independence Day Parade-2026.
